针对第一题，完整的动词原形并列结构在句中体现：一为 begin with ，另一个是culminate in 。

针对第二题，划线部分的错误体现为两个方面一是主谓一致，二为两个that 从句的并列。由于前面提到的是reasons，后面要求把划线部分的is 改为are,这样AD两项不用去考虑，剩下的BCE中依据that从句并列原则就选C项。

根据行文的具体变化，并列结构不仅是短语或者句子成分的并列，在这些之上是分句之间的并列，上述题目就是两个并列that从句写作模式的要求。
